EEBC - Skilled Worker
1 Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for this category, applicant must:
- have received an Express Entry Profile Number and a Job Seeker Validation Code from the IRCC Express Entry system. This shows you meet the minimum criteria for one of IRCC’s Express Entry programs (Federal Skilled Worker Program; Federal Skilled Trades Program, Canadian Experience Class)
- have accepted a full-time, permanent job offer from a BC employer. The job must be in a NOC 0, A or B occupation
- be qualified to perform the duties of the job
- have at least 2 years of directly related work experience
- show you can support yourself and your dependents
- have, or be eligible for, legal immigration status in Canada
- for NOC skill level B occupations, meet minimum language requirements (CLB 4)
- have a wage offer in line with BC wage rates for the occupation
- show your intent and ability to live in BC
2 Application Process:
- Creating EE profile with IRCC Express Entry system
- Registering with the BC PNP (SIRS)
- Receiving an ITA (valid for 30 days)
- Submitting BC PNP application (within 30 calendar days)
- Receiving nomination (valid for 180 days) and Work Permit Support Letter
- Submitting complete application for permanent residence
- Receiving Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) and PR Visa
- Landing in Canada and receiving permanent resident card

Government Expenses:
BC Government: BC PNP application fee: $700
Federal Government: principal applicant: $1,040 (incl. $550 processing fee and $490 right of permanent resident fee); spouse or partner: $1,040; dependent children: $150/per child.
Biometrics Fees: Per Person: $85; Family (2 or more): $170
Third-party fees: medical exams, police certificates, language testing, notary, translation, delivery and postage, etc.
